They definitely work out together at Coopertown Café, a restaurant located in Hattiesburg, run by native Brookhaven siblings, Cameron and Doyce Cleckler. “& ldquo; We come from a culinary household,” & rdquo; said proprietor, Cameron Cleckler. Their grandparents, Houston and Gladys Jordan, opened The 84 Dairy Twist in the 1960s. Not just are the food and music southerly, however the décor is. Each tabletop displays a motif, whether it be “& ldquo; Chosen the Wind” & rdquo; or & ldquo; Southern Miss. & rdquo; Camp Shelby is also represented. “& ldquo; Every tabletop is an initial that we made ourselves,” & rdquo; said C. Cleckler. The café has an informal feeling. The proprietor described the atmosphere as “& ldquo; very laid back & rdquo; – and & ldquo; laid-back eating & rdquo;-- the ideal atmosphere for the smooth, velvety blues.
